Through imagination and visual storytelling, being creative has been something I've always been interested in, through different mediums such as traditional illustration, digital design, and video production.
I initially focused on graphic design, graduating with a Diploma of Graphic Arts in 2002. With the inevitable migration to online and digital in the creative field, I later obtained my degree as a Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia) in 2008 to broaden my skillset, finding my love for video production. I was still employed by Telstra whilst undertaking my Bachelor's degree, which gave me the opportunity to transition to their Digital department as a Video Production Manager. Having had over a decade of creative corporate experience, I now believe it is time for me to take the next step in my career.
Outside of my professional life, I relish traveling and learning about new cultures, which I have been fortunate enough to accomplish over the past 3 years. Additionally, it has been extremely educational to see the difference in creative work from various countries and cultures.
I love being in the creative field. It has led me to consolidate my interests and appreciation for illustrations, comic art, and commissioning artwork. If you look hard enough, the world has been moving back to a 'craft and creative' centric culture, meaning it is now the best time to be in the industry.
